Because of their progressive and long term vision for the environment and...- Prevost is a leader in the industry – they have the distinction of being the first motor coach manufacturer in North America to receive ISO 9001:2000 Certification for Quality and ISO 14001 Certification for Environmental Protection in their manufacturing processes.
- Prevost is cleaner – their coaches are equipped with EPA 07 engines that produce 55% less nitrogen oxide and 90% less particulate matter, such as soot and ash, than 2006 model coaches. These next generation engines use exhaust gas recirculation (ERG) technology and diesel particulate filters to fully meet EPA emission requirements.
- Prevost invests heavily in research - Volvo, their parent company, has devoted substantial resources and attention to reducing diesel engine emissions, benefiting Prevost operators and customers - and, our environment.
