Toronto, January 20th 2010 - Effective January 20th passengers are now allowed to take one piece of carry-on luggage on board flights bound for the United States. Transport Canada regulations state the passenger's carry-on luggage must fall within the prescribed dimensions of:
23 cm x 40 cm x 55 cm. The one carry-on may be taken on board the aircraft in addition to previously permitted items.
