Holiday Inn on King hotel has been renamed and will now be called: Hyatt Regency Toronto on King
Toronto, February 11, 2009 - The Holiday Inn on King has undergone significant renovations and will be renamed to Hyatt Regency Toronto on King when it reopens on February 16. The hotel at the corner of King Street West and Peter Street in downtown Toronto has seen changes to the lobby and the 394 guest rooms have been revamped with updated furnishings. Virtually all of the guest rooms will feature 42” flat panel televisions, multi-media interface Jack boxes, iHome docking stations, Hyatt Grand Bed, and spa inspired washrooms that include massaging shower heads and luxurious Portico bath amenities. So many improvements have been made that the Hyatt Regency Hotel on King is now being classified as a four star hotel property.
The Hyatt Regency Toronto on King is the second Hyatt hotel in the city of Toronto, becoming the sister hotel to the Park Hyatt in Yorkville. Toronto Airport Express shuttle service to the Hyatt Regency Toronto will continue along the same schedule as the former Holiday Inn on King Stop. Travelers can board the shuttle by at the North West corner of King Street West and Peter Street in front of the Shopper’s Drug mart.
