TORONTO AIRPORT EXPRESS

Temporary Service Delays and Stop Closures for
Sunday, May 1st, 2011

Toronto, April 28th 2011 - Due to the Sporting Life 10K Run/Walk on Sunday, May 1st, Toronto Airport Express service will be experience delays between 6:30am and 11:00am. The event will be taking place along a number of major routes in the downtown Toronto area, resulting in road closures and traffic delays. Passengers are encouraged to allow for an extra hour of travel time on this day.

Toronto Airport Express will experience the following stop closures and schedule delays:

1. Hyatt Regency Stop - Between the hours of 6:30am and 11:30am there will be no service to or from the Hyatt Regency stop. Passengers will be dropped off as close as possible to the stop. However, for those travelling to Lester B. Pearson International Airport the Airport Express bus will have to be met at the Intercontinental Hotel stop on Front St. (Directions)

2. Sheraton Centre Hotel Stop - Between the hours of 6:30am and 11:30am there will be no service to or from the Sheraton Centre stop. Passengers will be dropped off at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel. Passengers departing from the Sheraton Centre Hotel travelling to the Lester B. Pearson International Airport, will have to meet the Airport Express bus at the Fairmont Royal York stop. (Directions)

3. Schedule Delays - Toronto Airport Express may experience major schedule delays servicing the following stops: Metropolitan, Bus Terminal and Delta Chelsea.
