Pacific Western to Sponsor 2009 Dreams Take Flight Toronto

 

Toronto, May 11th 2009 -   Pacific Western Transportation is proud to announce its continuing support of Dreams Take Flight Toronto. Founded in 1989 by a group of Air Canada service staff, the Dreams Take Flight program provides children facing difficult challenges an experience they will never forget. Each year a group of special children from Toronto, Montreal, Halifax, Ottawa and Winnipeg are flown to Walt Disney World in Florida for a trip of a lifetime. Whether it is a child facing a life threatening illness, a disadvantaged youth or someone who is physically or mentally challenged; Dreams Take Flight works hard to reach as many as possible.

2009 marks the program’s 20th year and its ongoing success is directly linked to the compassion and drive of its dedicated volunteers, sponsors and other contributors. As in the past, Pacific Western Transportation again provided ground transportation services for this year’s group of children through it’s’ line of luxury motor coach buses.

This year, over 1,000 young lives will experience the dream when Toronto, along with other chapters from all across Canada, adventure to Walt Disney World.
